Baked Crab Rangoon
This recipe has been adapted from the Baked Crab Rangoon recipe as posted on the Kraft Foods website. Check out their website for the original recipe. This recipe will make 12 rangoons that will pair nicely with a homemade Chinese dinner. You’ll love that this appetizer is baked, not fried, thereby saving you many calories.
Ingredients 6 oz. imitation crabmeat, flaked 4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) Neufchatel Cheese or low-fat cream cheese, softened 2 green onions, thinly sliced 1/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise 12 won ton wrappers
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a muffin pan with nonstick cooking spray. Push one won ton wrapper into each of the muffin tins. The wrappers should extend beyond the muffin cups.
Mix the first four ingredients together in a medium-sized bowl. Scoop the mixture into each of the won ton wrappers.
Bake the rangoons for 18-20 minutes. You’ll likely find that 18 minutes will suffice.
Enjoy your rangoons while they are warm. You’ll never have to order these from your local Chinese restaurant again!
